Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for or using Government Market Manager (the “Platform”), operated by Strategic Edge Consulting(“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Strategic Edge Consulting, governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. The Platform

Government Market Manager aggregates publicly available UK government procurement data from Contracts Finder and Find a Tender, and provides search, alerting, pipeline tracking, and AI-assisted analysis tools to help business development professionals identify and track procurement opportunities.

The Platform provides information only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, or procurement advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions made on the basis of information obtained through the Platform.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at contact@governmentmarketmanager.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Plans and billing

Free plan

Available at no charge, subject to usage limits (currently 3 searches per day, 10 results per search). We may modify or withdraw the free plan at any time with 30 days' notice.

Pro plan

Billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout. Prices exclude VAT. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Enterprise plan

Governed by a separate order form or agreement. Contact contact@governmentmarketmanager.co.uk.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

Price changes

We will give at least 30 days' written notice of any price increase. Continuing to use the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download Platform data by automated means
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Platform to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Platform
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or billing
  • Use the Platform in a way that interferes with other users or our infrastructure

Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All software, design, and original content on the Platform is owned by or licensed to Strategic Edge Consulting. Procurement notice data sourced from Contracts Finder and Find a Tender is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. pipeline notes, comments). By submitting it, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it to you within the Platform.

7. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that procurement data will be complete or current. Procurement data is sourced from third-party government APIs; we are not responsible for inaccuracies in that data.

AI Copilot outputs are generated by a language model and may be incorrect or incomplete. You must independently verify any AI-generated recommendations before acting on them.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strategic Edge Consulting's total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may terminate immediately if you breach these Terms materially. On termination, your access to the Platform ceases and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
